On Juneteenth (June 19, 2022) ASNEAA collaborated with Central Park Conservancy (CPC) for their inaugural celebration to lift BIPOC narratives centering Seneca Village- the historically black community that was removed for the development of the park.
At the CLP x CPC station, participants learned about multicultural heritage throughout NYC and created legacy bracelets with beads inspired by the Seneca Village archeological excavation items.
